Psychic, Paranormal and Consciousness Studies with Dr Jackie Jones-Hunt. BAhons., PGDipCG., MPhil., PhD.
This is an on-going popular and exceedingly thought-provoking course. All ages, backgrounds and levels of knowledge are welcomed. Talks will be given each week detailing the different objective arguments put forward by the salient academic researchers in each field. The second part of each meeting will deal with class discussion of the implications and issues raised. The first class will broadly outline the many forms of experiences of consciousness beyond the physical body and provide definitions to support all future class discussions so that everyone is talking the same language. Some topics may take more than one week and related and further topics will be discussed in each continuing course on Consciousness Studies.
Topics will include: Shamanic Paranormal Feats of Consciousness researched by anthropologists and psychical researchers-Out of Body & Near Death Experiences-Angels: Explanations regarding thousands of researched cases of these apparent manifestations-Emanuel Swedenborg: the feats of consciousness demonstrated during the life of this Genius and Purported Medium-Global and Historical Survey of Examples of Mediumship including in the World’s Religions-Illness and Soul Growth-Evaluation of the Evidence for Survival after Bodily Death, evidence for the survival of consciousness between lives-the Bardo state-Evidence for reincarnation and the implications for consciousness studies etc.
